Today I am going to review the first W7 eye shadow palette that I bought. As I was getting into learning makeup and gain product knowledge I wanted to start with something not very expensive.
W7 In the Nude
The shades are named as Latte, Angel, Venice, Marilyn, copper pot, Sun kissed, Alice, Bad manners, Coffee cup, Mud slide, Tokyo, Fashionista. You can find this on the back side of the Palette.
The 12 eye shadows come in a metal box which is quite sturdy and travel friendly. It closes very tightly with a click. The color of the case helps you identify the pallete. Well this one is a rosy palette so the color of the metal case is rosy pink. It comes with a dual ended brush with a sponge and brush applicator.
PRICE 1099 INR
QUANTITY 15.6 gms
TEXTURE & PIGMENTATION
This palette is an exact dupe of Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. This palette nowhere matches urban decay.
The textures of most of the shades are smooth except Latte, Angel, Copper pot. The pigmentation of most of these shades is not that great. Fashionista is super pigmented. The colors of this palette are mostly towards pink and copper and brown with a pink undertone. The rest of the shades need eye primer before application.
In the below pictures the top row is without primer and the bottom row is with primer. Over all I am not happy with this palette. I have dark circles and even after using primer these colors did not do any justice to me.
Also quality wise I feel this palette is not that great. There is a lot of fallout from the shades Angel, Copper pot & Coffee cup. The brush that comes with this palette is not very good for eye shadow application. I use it as a lip brush
- Travel friendly
- Shades are not very pigmented
- Good option as compared to Urban decay naked 3
- Quality is not good
- 2 – 3 shades are chalky
- Lot of fall out
Can give a try to learn makeup 🙂
