Today we will talk about the readily available drugstore products that deliver what they promise. I have used each and every product extensively to write this post. It is a mix of all the beauty products I would say and not just a particular range of products.
1. Nivea Essential Care
This little bad boy is by far the best nourishing lip balm I have ever used. It comes in weightless and clear formula with goodness of jojoba oil and shea butter leaving lips soft and smooth. It works like magic on dry lips. All other lip balms from various brands have failed miserably to serve the purpose. This is my personal favorite out of the entire lot here.
Priced at INR 100 😀
2. L’Oreal Smooth Intense Instant Smoothing Serum
This is one stop solution to Frizzy hair. It comes in runny and translucent consistency with no stickiness what so ever. It can be applied on damp or dry hair. It makes hair soft, shiny and manageable even without styling. Check out the full review HERE
Priced at INR 255.
3. Lakme Eyeconic Lash Curling Mascara (Non waterproof)
Although it says it is curling mascara, it does the job volumizing as well. So it is two in one if you ask me. The mascara wand is quite sturdy and curvy which gives a nice curl to your lashes. I got this one in non waterproof as I intended to use it on everyday basis. It comes off easily with water and a face wash which is quite quick considering you don’t want to spend more time taking off your make everyday.
Priced at INR 350 this one is a real catch.
4. L’Oreal Paris The Super Slim Eyeliner by Infallible
This is hands down my go to liner/makeup product. It is dark black and little matte but not completely matte. It has its own shine and color payoff which is really good for everyday glam up. As the name suggests it gives you the thinnest possible line which can be build up to a full wing. The best part is it does not feel heavy on your eyelids.
Priced at INR 799.
I use this one in most of my makeup looks that you can check out HERE
5. Sunsilk Straight lock shampoo and conditioner
It claims to straighten wavy hair to an extent provided shampoo and conditioner are used together. This isn’t sulfate(SLS) free shampoo so if you are looking for a sulfate(SLS) free one then you can give this one a miss. I started using this shampoo 2 years back and I keep on coming back to this one. It has straightened out my hair to an extent and I am so happy. It controls the frizz and leaves hair soft and supple. I have started washing my hair keeping them back and not bringing them to the front. I noticed that the results are amazing with this technique. This is one shampoo that does what it claims.
Priced at INR 132 for 180 ml.
