It is time again to introduce you to these mini trio brushes from real techniques. It was a part of my real techniques haul last year. So let’s get down to knowing them.
Product Claims – Our mini brush trio is your solution for a flawless look on-the-go.
- mini foundation brush: use with liquid foundation or concealer to touch up throughout the day
- mini shading brush: transform your eye shadow on-the-go from day natural to night glam
- mini face brush: effortlessly apply powder, blush and bronzer as needed during the day
- mini pouch: keep your handbag spotless
My Thoughts – No Does not do what it claims.
Honestly I bought these just because they were so damn cute looking… I mean look at them.. these little cutie patooties…
These brushes like any other RT brushes comes in a semi hard plastic case which is sturdy enough to keep the bristles in shape during travel and other wise. It comes with a flat rubber base so that it can stand easily on its own . The color makes them all the more cute looking. Pink for the face brush, yellow for the concealer (foundation it is actually) brush and purple for the eye brush.
The Face Brush – It claims to apply powder, blush and bronzer, but I have had luck only with powder. It just did not fit the bill for blush and bronzer may be because of its size and my face size 😛
The Foundation Brush – Honestly, I am done with using flat brushes for foundation so I used this one for concealer (MAC hydrating). It gave me a little streaky finish. I had to go in with beauty blender to blend it out anyways. But this one is nice to have as an applicator but not as a blender.
The Shading Brush – This is too small for my big eyes:D . If you are travelling for a day or two and you know that you are going to apply a one particular eye shadow all over your lid then it is OK to have but if you are going to do a full on glam eye then 😦
All real techniques brushes are cruelty free and made from 100% synthetic fibers. The bristles do not shed at all for this one.
Priced at 10$ in the US and in the range of 600 to 900 INR in India, this set is not worth investing. This does not do any good to your face and makeup.
