Milani – Romantic Rose Powder Blush – Corallina Baked Blush – Review/Photos/Swatches

Hello you beautiful people,

Welcome to my blog 🙂 I am back with another review and this time it is the brand Milani…. For those of you who don’t know Milani, let’s get to know the brand a little bit.

Italian style. Rich, lush, eye-candy colors. The perfect makeup fit for every skin tone.

Milani Cosmetics offers incredible quality for an incredible price. But even more “wow” is our product lineup: Hundreds of shades and high-tech, specialty store-level formulas – basically everything you could ever want or need for eyes, lips, cheeks and nails. (Face too, of course. Our foundations and concealers are amazing.)

Having said that  I picked up two blushes from their collection as I already had bought a lot of makeup from other brands and what was missing from my makeup collection was blushes. I picked up two blushes one from each of their collections.

  1. Powder Blush Collection
  2. Baked Blush Collection

Name of the product  –  Romantic Rose Powder Blush

Product claims – A radiant blush that deserves to be seen, Rose Powder Blush is gorgeous in the compact and even prettier on cheeks. The soft, natural-finish powder shapes, contours and highlights with flattering matte and shimmery shades made to complement every skin tone. This is one petal-perfect beauty that you’ll reach for again and again.

This one comes in a beautiful transparent packaging and the blush is in the shape of a rose flower. I mean look at it.. how pretty 😀

I swear on God, the shape and color of the blush made me buy it. It is powder blush which blends beautifully on cheeks and does not make you look powdery. I kid you not it is so so so smooth it blends like dream. The color of this one is mauve rose. It is perfect for day and night, summer and winter. It just goes with majority of the makeup looks. I swear I don’t have anything bad to say about this blush.  I am really digging this blush and next in bucket list is to buy the shade ‘warm petals’. Check it out on their website here.

Name of the product  –  Corallina Baked Blush

Product Claims – Richly pigmented and highly buildable, the beautiful matte and shimmery shades of Baked Blush are the perfect cheeky pop of color for every skin tone. Sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles, the warm finish adds a radiance that is the very essence of beauty. Shape, contour and highlight your best features.

Baked blushes come in matte and shimmery shades. I bought a shimmery one as the other one that I bought was a matte one. The texture is again very smooth blends like dream. It does not look cakey or powdery at all. The shimmery pigments are shiny and sheeny so that makes it look very smooth. This particular shade is an orangy one. Darker than peach and lighter than orange. These are highly pigmented so I suggest to use a very light hand. I had to take my own time to get comfortable with these bad boys as it can be very colorful on your cheeks. I personally do not like too much of pigment on my cheeks. That is the only caution point other than that this is an amazing blush.

  1. Hey Upasana! Thanks for the review. Did you pay extra for customs? (not shipping, the site can tell me about that), but did you have to pay import taxes? Rohini here btw.
